Missing a Show?

We know how passionate our viewers are about their favorite CW series, and we truly appreciate your enthusiasm. Below are a few common questions about missing or unavailable shows, and how our programming and streaming rights work.

Can I request The CW bring back or pick up a cancelled show?

We’re always glad to hear from fans, but unfortunately, we’re unable to take show suggestions, revival requests, or unsolicited creative input. While there are no current plans to bring back discontinued series, we hope you’ll explore and enjoy our current lineup of original programming.

Why aren’t all episodes of a show available to stream?

The CW app and website are the only places to stream new episodes for free in the United States during a show’s season. However, some limitations apply depending on the show:

  • Most of our newer broadcast series have all episodes of the current season available to stream for free, starting the morning after they air on The CW.
  • Some CW series are produced or scheduled to air first outside the U.S. (e.g., Canada). If a show hasn’t yet aired on The CW in the U.S., it won’t be available to stream on our app or website until after it does.
  • For select shows (like All American), only the five most recently aired episodes are available at any given time. As new episodes air, the oldest ones are removed.
    • If a repeat airs on TV, that episode will temporarily return to the app as part of the five-episode offering.
    • Because repeats can air out of order, episode listings may vary.

You can always check what’s airing each week at cwtv.com/schedule.

The show/movie I'm looking for isn't listed on your website or in search

All current CW programming, including scripted series, reality shows, and app-exclusive content, can typically be found on cwtv.com or in the CW App, either for streaming or listed in our broadcast schedule.

If you're unable to find a title using the search function, it's likely that we do not have the rights to offer that title for streaming at this time.

To stay informed about what's currently airing and available, we recommend subscribing to our newsletter.

Why is my show no longer streaming on another platform?

Some former CW series may be licensed to other streaming services after their original run on The CW. If a series you’re looking for has been removed from another platform, that decision was made by the rights holder or streaming service, not The CW.

We recommend reaching out directly to that service or rights holder for questions about future availability.

Thanks for watching The CW! We’re always adding new shows and movies, so be sure to check back often.
