(NEW) How to Create and Manage Your CW Account

We now offer an optional login feature on The CW across all supported devices.

When you’re logged in, you can access My CW features such as shared watch history and watchlists for your favorite series, movies, and live channels across supported devices. Creating an account is completely free and optional and is designed to enhance your viewing experience.

How do I create an account?

  • On web (cwtv.com):
    Navigate to Account > Sign Up/In. Enter your email to generate a login link to confirm your account.
  • On mobile devices (iOS, Android): 
    Open The CW app and go to Settings > Get Started > Sign Up Now, or tap the My CW button at the bottom and select Get Started under “Create an Account.”
  • On connected TVs (e.g., Roku, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Vizio, Android TV): 
    Open The CW app and navigate to Settings > Get Started > Sign Up.

Why can't I sign into my account with a password?

If you’re unable to sign in with a password, your account may have been created using a passwordless sign-in link.

To set a password:

  • Select Forgot Password on the password sign-in page, or

  • While logged in on web or mobile, go to Settings > Account > Set Password.

You can always sign in using a sign-in link, as long as you have access to the email associated with your account and can enter the 6-digit verification code sent to you. If you don't see an email from us, please check your junk/spam/promotions folder(s). 

Can I delete my account?

Yes. While logged in on web or mobile, go to Account Settings and scroll to Delete Account. Your account and watch history will be immediately removed.

Note about cable subscriptions:
If you access The CW through a cable or live TV provider, you’ll need to contact that provider directly to manage your subscription. The CW apps and website are completely free and do not require payment.
