Basic Troubleshooting for Desktop

There are a series of troubleshooting steps you can take to ensure you are receiving an optimal experience on and

1. Ensure you are on a supported browser.
The following browsers are supported by

    • Chrome
    • Firefox
    • Safari
    • Microsoft Edge

2. Update your browser.
Check your browser settings to make sure that you are running the latest version of your browser. Update your browser if needed.

3. Check your internet connection.
You need an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth in order to have an optimized viewing experience. Videos on The CW stream at 500Kbps or 700Kbps, depending on your bandwidth. We recommend a downstream bandwidth of 1000Kbps or higher for a high-quality viewing experience.

4. Disable any installed ad blockers

5. Clear all third-party cookies on your browser.
Recent browser updates may have reset your default settings. Please visit this article for more information. You may also want to try a different browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox) or a private browsing window.

6. Clear your browser's cache. 

7. Restart your computer and relaunch our site.
